Zuma-Sambudla, who faces charges of inciting terrorism and violence related to the July 2021 unrest, has pleaded not guilty to all charges against her.

The state alleges that her social media posts intentionally and unlawfully encouraged the public to engage in acts of violence under the slogan #FreeJacobZuma in July 2021. National Prosecuting Authority Regional Spokesperson, Natasha Ramkisson-Kara says a new state witness is expected to take the stand.

“The matter adjourned for the resumption of the state’s case. A new witness will be introduced. This will be in the High Court. Zuma-Sambudla is charged with two counts of incitement to commit public violence as well as incitement to commit terrorism,” she said.
