The President of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) , Félix Tshisekedi is in Israel for talks with President Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as Kinshasa and Tel Aviv look to deepen ties in security, defence, agriculture, infrastructure, energy and technology.
The visit comes amid strained relations between Israel and several African countries over the war in Gaza, with African governments divided over their approach to Israel.
This is his second official visit to Israel, following his 2021 trip.
