EADB backs regional youth sports with $90 000 investment

The East African Development Bank (EADB) has invested $90 000 into the ongoing Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Association (FEASSA) Games taking place in Morogoro, Tanzania.

The tournament has drawn 413 teams and 5 548 participants from across the region competing across 51 sporting disciplines, cementing its position as one of the largest school sports gatherings on the continent.

EADB Tanzania Country Manager Stephen Wambura stated that the sponsorship aligns with the institution’s mission to drive sustainable development and create a lasting positive impact in East Africa. He highlighted the games as a vital platform for nurturing young athletic talent and fostering future leaders for the region.
