Annual ⁠core inflation, calculated by ​the Central Bank of ​Egypt, rose to 14.3% in June from 13.8% in May.

The monthly ​decline compared with ​a drop of 0.1% in June ‌2025 ⁠and a rise of 1.6% in May 2026, according to CAPMAS.

Core ​inflation on ​a ⁠monthly basis rose 0.3% in June, ​compared with a fall ​of ⁠0.2% in June 2025 and a rise of ⁠1.6% ​in May ​2026.
