Equatorial Guinea President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo has arrived in Zimbabwe for a two-day state visit aimed at strengthening bilateral ties.

The high-level visit comes barely a month after the inaugural session of the Zimbabwe-Equatorial Guinea Joint Permanent Commission on Co-operation.

The commission successfully laid the structural groundwork for enhanced economic and political collaboration between the two nations across a wide range of developmental sectors.
