Two Mountains Burial Services echoed similar sentiments as the Zambian government.
The Two Mountains Burial Services has affirmed the Zambian government’s position that the Lungu family obtained the recent urgent court order for the return of former President Edgar Lungu’s remains without full disclosure.
This is revealed in papers filed before the High Court in Pretoria, Gauteng province, South Africa just a day before the Zambian government’s reconsideration application, which will be heard this Thursday morning.
Two Mountains Burial Services echoed similar sentiments as the Zambian government, arguing that the Lungu family approached the court without making a full and frank disclosure.
Two Mountains Burial Services adds that the Lungu family are the authors of their own misfortune because had they taken the necessary steps in relation to the now lapsed Supreme Court of Appeal, they would not “have found themselves in this position”.
