A group of foreign nationals is taking the Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality in Estcourt, KwaZulu-Natal Province, South Africa (SA), to court over allegations that the municipality forced them to close their businesses.
The group is expected to file an urgent application against the municipality and its mayor in the High Court in Pietermaritzburg this Wednesday.
Organisations, including anti-illegal immigration group March and March, as well as local business owners, are expected to show solidarity with the municipality and the mayor during the court proceedings.
