South Africa’s (SA) Mkhonto weSizwe Party leader and former President Jacob Zuma says he has been made aware of reports about plans to have him arrested.
Zuma made the claims while addressing thousands attending the party’s final election rally at the Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaMashu, north of Durban, in the KwaZulu-Natal Province.
He did not indicate who was planning the arrest, and why.
This was Zuma’s first public appearance as people prepare to vote in the local government elections this week.
