The Central African Republic sit fifth out of six teams in Group I, having collected five points from their eight games. They won against Chad in June 2024, two draws and five losses. Ghana are well positioned to make their fifth appearance at the World Cup, sitting in first place in Group I with 19 points from eight matches and only one loss. The Black Stars are three points above second-placed Madagascar and will be looking for a victory to maintain that gap or secure qualification, should Madagascar do anything but win.
