Anti-apartheid activist, Mavuso Msimang, says the high unemployment rate crisis in South Africa (SA) has nothing to do with undocumented migrants.
Msimang is part of the delegates attending the Samora Machel Symposium at Rhodes University in Makhanda, in the country’s Eastern Cape province.
The two-day event, which is examining the legacy of Mozambique’s former president Samora Machel and what organisers describe as the unfinished project of decolonisation, comes as protests led by citizens of the southern African nation against undocumented migrants continue to grab global headlines.
