Human rights lawyer and United Nations Special Rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese, will deliver the 23rd Nelson Mandela Annual Lecture at the Sandton Convention Centre on Saturday.
The lecture will be held under the theme “Enhancing Peace and Global Co-operation”.
Albanese will be reflecting on the challenges of advancing social justice in a fragmented geopolitical order.
She describes Palestine as a mirror of the world’s moral failure that requires immediate intervention.
