South Korea’s Hyundai Motor Co said this Monday that it aims to sell 4.16 million vehicles in 2026

South Korea’s Hyundai Motor Co said this Monday that it aims to sell 4.16 million vehicles in 2026, following 2025 sales of 4.14 million units, just below last year’s target of 4.17 million vehicles.

The company attributed the slight shortfall in 2025 to ongoing supply chain disruptions and a slowdown in key markets, including the United States and Europe. Despite these challenges, Hyundai said it remained optimistic about growth in electric vehicles (EVs) and plans to expand its EV lineup, including new models in the Ioniq series.

Hyundai also highlighted efforts to strengthen its presence in emerging markets, including India and Southeast Asia, and to improve production efficiency at its global plants. The automaker expects that rising demand for eco-friendly vehicles and continued investment in smart mobility solutions will support its sales and revenue targets in 2026.
