The International Cricket Council (ICC) has awarded its media rights in Pakistan to state broadcaster PTV and streaming platform Myco, covering all major ICC events until 2027. The deal gives the two platforms extensive broadcast and digital rights for the next two years of ICC competitions.
Under the agreement, PTV will broadcast matches on linear television, alongside Geo Super and Myco. Myco, which has secured the digital rights, will now operate alongside streaming platforms such as Tamasha, Tapmad and ARY Zap.
The upcoming two-year cycle includes eight major ICC events, five men’s tournaments and three women’s tournaments. These feature the Men’s T20 World Cup scheduled for early next year, the Women’s T20 World Cup set for 2026, and the Men’s Cricket World Cup the following year.
The ICC launched a tender for these rights packages, along with similar tenders in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, in late August.
