The annual Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group will take place next week in Washington, bringing together the world’s top economic policymakers for high‑level discussions on the global economy.
The 2026 Spring Meetings will be held in person from Monday, April 13 to Saturday, April 18 at the headquarters of the IMF and the World Bank Group in the United States capital.
The gatherings will convene central bank governors, finance and development ministers, private sector leaders, academics and civil society representatives from around the world. Participants are expected to assess the state of the global economy and debate responses to shared challenges, including growth prospects, financial stability, debt vulnerabilities and poverty reduction.
The Spring Meetings remain the only global forum of their kind, providing a rare opportunity for policymakers from advanced, emerging and developing economies to exchange perspectives on international economic cooperation and policy coordination.
