Four international aid agencies have joined forces to strengthen the protection of children in Somalia.

Save the Children, World Vision, Plan International and SOS Children’s Villages have launched the Joining Forces Somalia Chapter in Mogadishu.

This is aiming to combat violence against children.

It is reported that the initiative is also to improve child protection systems amid conflict, climate shocks and limited access to essential services.
