International Olympic Committee President, Kirsty Coventry, says she has not yet had any formal communication with United States (US) President, Donald Trump, on the Los Angeles Olympic Games in 2028.

The US will be co-hosting the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) World Cup later this year.

FIFA President, Gianni Infantino has repeatedly met with Trump in the run-up to the event.

But Coventry says she is looking forward to meeting US Vice-President, JD Vance next month.

Vance and a US delegation will attend the opening ceremony of the Winter Games in Italy on February 6.
