The Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has expressed appreciation for SA’s stance, condemning what it describes as United States and Israeli aggression against Iran.
Araqchi says they appreciate SA’s message of solidarity with the Iranian people.
This follows a telephone conversation between Araqchi and his SA counterpart, Minister of the Department of International Relations and Co-operation Ronald Lamola.
Lamola has also been engaging with several counterparts across the Gulf region.
This is part of ongoing diplomatic consultations amid heightened tensions in the Middle East.
