Ireland beat Japan 41-10 in their Autumn Internationals rugby series encounter in Dublin Ireland, running in 6-tries to the 1 from Japan

But in spite of the scoreline, the homeside battled throughout the game to get their basics right. Ireland took a 17-nil lead in the first half. Japan closed the gap with a try and penalty and the hosts led 17-10 at the break.

Ireland only managed to run away with the game in the last 15 minutes and take on Australia and South Africa next.
