The meeting of FIFA’s main decision-making body comes amid growing pressure on football authorities to sanction Israel, following a United Nations commission of inquiry report last month that concluded Israel has committed genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
While the matter is not formally listed, it could still surface under the “miscellaneous” section of the meeting.
Israel’s national team are currently competing in European qualifiers for next summer’s men’s World Cup, while Maccabi Tel Aviv continue to feature in the Europa League.
