Anthony Joshua has paid tribute to close friends Sina Ghami and Latif “Latz” Ayodele, who were killed in a car crash in Nigeria
The heavyweight boxer sustained minor injuries when their vehicle collided with a stationary truck near Lagos. He later attended the funeral in London, posting emotional tributes on Instagram, calling his friends “great men” and saying he is finding it “tough” to process their deaths. Ghami had worked with Joshua as his rehabilitation coach for more than a decade, while Ayodele was a long-time personal trainer and friend.
Driver Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving. He was granted bail and the case has been adjourned until  January 20.
