Lenacapavir is an injection taken twice a year as preventative measure against HIV Infection.
Through the assistance of the Global Health Fund, Lesotho will be able to start a rollout across 50 clinics a nationally.
Lesotho has made significant strides in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
While the country has reached and surpassed the World Health globe standards, it is the new infection rate that erodes all the gains made.
The media sector has been among the first to get the training on how the new Lenacapavir innovation will bridge the prevention gap.
HIV prevention remains high on Lesotho’s priorities, hence the need to partner with the media sector for critical message dissemination.
