Since declaring ‘youth unemployment’ as a national crisis, Lesotho is pulling all stops to ensure that the playing field for young people is levelled for them to excel.
With the assistance of the African Development Bank, Lesotho will be constructing a Digital Outreach Studio as an effort to boost digital content creators with a high-tech production studio.
The project forms part of the e-governance infrastructure phase II, as desired by the African Agenda 2063.
The African Agenda 2063 views e-governance infrastructure as key to strengthening digital services, promoting inclusion and improvement of the delivery of services to citizens across the country.
The sod turning marks a step in the right direction towards achieving the goal.
