Lesotho says it is seeking to open talks with South Africa (SA) over royalties and compensation linked to a water-sharing deal.
The water ties between the two countries contributes around 10% of its economy.
The proposed negotiations concern the 1986 accord.
The agreement could have major implications for the Lesotho Highlands Water Project.
