A bus traveling from Malawi to Johannesburg has been impounded in Polokwane, in South Africa’s (SA) Limpopo province, for traveling without a roadworthy disc

The bus with 45 passengers, had been impounded for a similar offense last month. Provincial Traffic Spokesperson Collins Manaka says buses are supposed to get roadworthy discs every six months.

“The operating permit is okay and he has a drivers license what is disappointing is that the disc expired in March this year, and they said the disc was taken by some traffic officers long time ago, so we told them to park until it has been taken for roadworthy text because busses are taken for roadworthy test every six month for it to get disc,” he said.
