South Africa’s (SA) International Relations and Co-operation Minister Ronald Lamola has called on law enforcement agencies to protect migrants from other parts of the African continent who are in the country.
Addressing the Africa and African Diaspora Conference in Boksburg, east of Johannesburg, Lamola said the South African government has taken steps to address the migration challenges.
He says thorough investigations have been launched to ensure that those responsible for violent acts against migrants are prosecuted.
