The forum, taking place from August 19 to August 21 under the theme “Share Development Opportunities, Shape the Audio-Visual Future”, brings together government representatives, media leaders and industry stakeholders from across Africa and China.
SA is expected to use the platform to deepen cooperation with China and fellow African countries in areas including broadcasting, audio-visual services, digital transformation, content development, artificial intelligence and new media technologies.
Morolong’s participation forms part of broader efforts to expand media partnerships and explore opportunities presented by technological advances reshaping the global communications sector.
The discussions are also expected to focus on innovation in content production, the growing role of artificial intelligence in media operations and strategies to strengthen digital communication infrastructure across Africa.
