Mozambique has rolled out a comprehensive digital transformation agenda aimed at integrating government systems, improving public service delivery, and strengthening economic competitiveness.

President Daniel Chapo described the initiative as a structural reform of the state rather than a simple technological upgrade, signalling a broader effort to modernise public administration and streamline governance.

The programme seeks to connect government departments through interoperable digital platforms, reduce bureaucracy, and enhance transparency, while positioning Mozambique to better compete in an increasingly digital global economy.
