Mozambique’s President Daniel Chapo is currently on a seven-day state visit to China.

This trip marks his first visit to China since taking office and is the first state visit to China by a Mozambican Head of State in 10 years.

The two countries are expected to agree on bilateral trade agreement.

Chapo’s visit forms part of efforts to deepen and elevate the existing partnership with China.

The visit is reflecting shared commitment to strengthening longstanding ties of friendship, solidarity, and mutually beneficial co-operation between the two nations.
