Former World Boxing Organisation heavyweight champion and 1988 Olympic gold medallist Ray Mercer is scheduled to attend the second edition of The Street Rumble grassroots boxing event as a special ringside guest on December 13 at Maracana Square in Ajegunle, Lagos.
Organised by Match Maker Sports International in partnership with official media partner Brila Media, the event aims to showcase emerging Nigerian boxing talent and expand career development opportunities for young athletes across the region.
Mercer’s high-profile appearance is set to bring international exposure to the tournament, which builds on the success of its inaugural edition held earlier this year. Under the media agreement, Brila Media will deliver multi-platform coverage, spotlighting participating fighters and grassroots boxing developments leading up to the December showcase.
