Nigeria’s construction sector is gaining momentum, supported by rapid urban expansion and increasing demand for sustainable infrastructure, according to organisers DMG Events.
This trend was reflected at the fifth edition of Big 5 Construct Nigeria, recently held at the Landmark Centre in Lagos. The three-day exhibition brought together more than 9 800 professionals and industry players for discussions, product showcases and networking opportunities.
Josine Heijmans, Senior Vice-President at DMG Events, said the impressive attendance highlighted the growing confidence in the country’s construction market.
“We saw a fantastic turnout of 145 exhibitors, both local and international, and over 9 800 professionals joining us this year to explore conversations around construction and view the latest product innovations,” she said.
The annual event has become one of the most important gatherings for Nigeria’s construction industry, serving as a hub for new technologies, partnerships and ideas that support the country’s infrastructure ambitions.
