The Nordic country will in the settlement receive payment of 305 million Euros ($356 million) from NHI in addition to amounts previously paid of around 70 million Euros, the government said in a statement.
Norway had said it was seeking restitution and compensation of 2.86 billion Euros in a case that was due to begin at the Oslo District Court on November 10 and which was scheduled to run for five months.
