Abdeslam Ouaddou, at the helm of a proudly African technical team at South Africa’s (SA) Orlando Pirates, says it would be a proud moment to guide the club to its first league title in 14 years.
“I’m not working alone; I’m surrounded by fantastic players,” Ouaddou said. “This victory would belong to the players, the technical team, the club, and the African coaching staff. If we can win the title with all these African talents, it would send a strong message to those who doubt African expertise.”
Pirates have not lifted the SA league trophy in over a decade, and a triumph under Ouaddou would mark a significant milestone for both the club and African football coaching.
