More than 2 400 people have been charged in Morocco following a wave of youth-led protests that recently turned violent.
Prosecutors say the accused face charges including armed rebellion, assaulting and insulting public officials, and incitement to commit felonies.
Authorities have described the unrest as one of the largest outbreaks of youth anger in recent years, fuelled by unemployment, rising living costs, and demands for political reform.
Security forces have maintained a strong presence in major cities amid fears of further demonstrations.
