The South African Police Service (SAPS) have arrested eleven suspects believed to be linked to Bekkersdal mass shooting at the KwaNoxolo tavern in Bekkersdale on Gauteng province’s West Rand last week.

The suspects were found in possession of multiple firearms including an AK47 rifle.

Ten people were killed, while ten others are in a critical condition in hospital, after a group of armed suspects stormed the tavern and shot randomly at the patrons.
Police have also confiscated all the alcohol after they arrested the owner of the tarven for operating with a fraudulent liquor license.

This comes after the police took her license for verification, following the deadly mass shooting when a group of armed suspects stormed the tavern and shot randomly at the patrons.
