Tshwane Metro Police (TMPD) have arrested more than 60 undocumented migrants in recent by-law enforcement operations across Pretoria, South Africa’s (SA) capital city, reaffirming their commitment to upholding the law.

TMPD Spokesperson Puleng Motholo said officers conducted targeted raids in multiple areas to ensure compliance with city regulations. “The TMPD remains firm in enforcing the supreme law, the Constitution, and the city by-laws without bias or discrimination, to ensure that all who reside within the borders of the City of Tshwane are legally administered,” Motholo stated.

The operations are part of ongoing efforts by the metro police to maintain law and order throughout the capital.
