Premier League club refuse to budge on $41 million demand for on-loan Barcelona forward Marcus Rashford. Barcelona’s intention to keep Marcus Rashford beyond this season is becoming clearer, but the operation will not come cheaply

This is because, Manchester United have no intention of lowering the agreed transfer price for the English forward. Rashford has enjoyed an impressive spell under Hansi Flick since arriving on loan. His form has improved steadily, and he has become an important part of the attacking rotation.

What started as a short-term solution has now turned into a serious long-term consideration for the Barcelona board. However, the financial terms of the deal were already defined when the loan was negotiated.
