Proteas,West Indies T20I series reduced ahead of World Cup

The series was originally scheduled from 27 January to 6 February, but will now conclude on 31 January to allow teams time to travel to India and Sri Lanka, the World Cup co-hosts.

As a result, fixtures at Newlands in Cape Town and Buffalo Park in East London have been dropped. The series will open at Boland Park in Paarl on 27 January, before moving to Centurion on the 29th and the Wanderers on the 31st.

The final game at the Wanderers will double as the traditional Pink Day fixture, where the Proteas wear pink to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer treatment.
