Roman Ambarov, the Russian Ambassador to Lesotho, has conducted a working visit to the kingdom, where Maseru also hosted the first-ever Russian Workers’ Diplomatic Day.

The event marks 46 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Lesotho’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Lejone Mpotjoane, said the visit reflects growing bilateral co-operation, highlighting opportunities for collaboration in diplomacy, trade and cultural exchange.

Officials said the diplomatic day aims to strengthen people-to-people relations and deepen strategic ties between Lesotho and Russia.
