Rwanda DRC along with UNHCR have adopted a roadmap
The governments of Rwanda and Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) along with the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) have adopted a roadmap that could see 10 000 Rwandan refugees return home from DRC territory this year.
The roadmap follows a tripartite meeting which was held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The two government reaffirmed their commitment to work together, with UNHCR’s support, to enable the voluntary, safe and dignified return of refugees between their countries.
