SA, Brazil strengthen strategic partnership at Joint Commission

The session reviewed progress in existing areas of co-operation.
South Africa’s (SA) Minister of International Relations and Co-operation, Ronald Lamola, and Brazil’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mauro Vieira, briefing the media on the outcomes of the Eighth Session of the SA–Brazil Joint Commission held in Pretoria on Wednesday.
 The session reviewed progress in existing areas of co-operation and explored new opportunities to strengthen and advance the strategic partnership between the two countries.
Brazil is SA’s major trading partner in Latin America and the Caribbean, with significant investment by South African companies in Brazil.
