South Africa’s (SA), Limpopo Province, Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba has confirmed that another victim involved in Sunday’s devastating bus crash has died, bringing the death toll to 43.
The bus, which was travelling from Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape to Zimbabwe and Malawi, veered off a steep mountain pass and plunged down an embankment along the N1 Highway near Louis Trichardt.
Ramathuba is urging families of those who were on board to contact Louis Trichardt Hospital to confirm the whereabouts of their loved ones, whether they are among the deceased or receiving medical treatment.
The post-mortem process is expected to begin on Wednesday.
