South Africa’s (SA) Border Management and Immigration Anti-Corruption Forum (BMIACF) and the Special Investigating Unit (SIU) will take their anti-corruption campaign to the Maseru Bridge Border Post in an effort to combat corruption at ports of entry.
BMIACF Commissioner Michael Masiapato, alongside acting SIU Head Leonard Lekgetho and senior officials from the Home Affairs and Correctional Services departments, will lead the campaign on Tuesday.
The initiative will include border officials signing a pledge against corruption, while convicted offenders will also share their experiences to encourage integrity and ethical conduct among staff working at border posts.
