Minister of Defence and Military Veterans Angie Motshekga says the Ministry is aware of South Africans (SA) who are stuck in Russia and are engaging with relevant authorities to remedy the situation.
Motshekga made these remarks during the fourth Vuk’Uhlome exercise held at SA Army Combat Training centre in Lohatla Military base in Northern Cape Province.

Motshekga has weighted in on the issue of SA citizens who are stuck in Russia.
“We are very much aware of the SA citizens stuck in Russian and we are engaging relevant authorities but stressed they don’t want to comment further on the subject.”
