South Africa’s (SA) National Coloured Congress Member of Parliament Fadiel Adams is unlikely to testify before the Judicial Commission of Inquiry into criminality, political interference, and corruption in the criminal justice system, the Madlanga Commission.
The testimony will take place in Pretoria, Gauteng Province, this morning.
He has been subpoenaed to appear today.
But the Commission’s Spokesperson Jeremy Michaels says evidence leaders only received Adams’ sworn affidavit and accompanying annexures on Monday night.
He says the evidence leaders are expected to request a postponement to give them time to study the documents and consult with Adams before he testifies.
