South Africa’s (SA) President Cyril Ramaphosa has wrapped up his visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

During his working visit, Ramaphosa also met with business and other leaders who attended the Abu Dhabi Sustainability week.

Ramaphosa also participated in the Heads of State Panel discussion on the topic: “A Vision for Global Energy”.

Minister of International Relations Ronald Lamola, who accompanied Ramaphosa, says the two-day working visit was productive.

“We conclude the meeting looking forward to implementation with renewed zeal with a number of projects. The two countries have agreed on including R10 billion ($611 262 million) investment that has to be unlocked through agreements that are still under negotiations,” explains Lamola.
