Travellers say there has been smooth and efficient processing of travel documents at the Beitbridge border post in Musina, in South Africa’s (SA) Limpopo province. Scores of travellers are returning from various destinations following the long Easter weekend.
Over 20 000 people entering the country have been processed at the border post. The Border Management Authority has been monitoring operations.
The travellers say the efficient processing of travel documents made their journey hassle-free, “Everything is fine. After stamping the passport, at least now it is fine. We are from Malawi, going to Johannesburg. Our final destination is Joburg. We travelled safely from Malawi. I went there to attend the Easter Pilgrimage at Prophet Bushiri’s church in Malawi. This year, it has been low; it was not that busy. This is different from previous years; the road was not too busy.”
