The South African sevens team secured their place in Sunday’s semi-finals of Perth Sevens tournament, round four of the World Rugby Sevens series.
The Blitzboks finished second in Pool A, after wins over Spain and Argentina, before losing in the pool decider to Fiji.
The Blitzboks, currently third on the overall standings, will play Australia in the Cup semi-finals, while Fiji will take on New Zealand on Sunday.
