It marks the trophy’s first return to South Africa since 2018, with the country the second stop on the continent after Egypt. The global tour celebrates its 20th anniversary this year and will visit 30 FIFA Member Associations across 75 stops, ahead of the expanded FIFA World Cup 2026 in Canada, Mexico and the United States. FIFA and Coca-Cola say the tour not only brings fans closer to the game but also promotes sustainable initiatives in local communities.
