A South African (SA) social media influencer will be back in the High Court in the Limpopo province on Monday next week
Livhuwani Madadzhe appeared in court yesterday and the matter was postponed. He is accused of fraud after allegedly faking his mother’s death and killing his partner, Lindelani Nengovhela. The partner’s body was found in a water-filled disused pit toilet at the couple’s home in Mangondi village outside Thohoyandou in 2023.
The court was set to hand down sentencing in the fraud case against Madadzhe. He pleaded guilty on the two charges. However, Judge Thogomelani Tshidada postponed the matter to Monday next week for finalisation of sentencing. Meanwhile, Madadzhe will appear before a new judge, Judge Violet Semenya in his murder trial. The case was  previously presided over by Judge Thogomelani Tshidada before he recused himself five months ago
