The South African Football Association (SAFA) National Executive Committee (NEC) has approved the appointment of Pitso Mosimane as the new head coach of Bafana Bafana.

The decision comes following the departure of former head coach Hugo Broos, who confirmed his decision to return home after leading the national side.

Mosimane, who coached the national team in the past and later won major trophies with top African and international clubs, steps back into the helm to guide Bafana Bafana through their upcoming competitive campaigns.
